Amy hails from Côte d’Ivoire. She started her career at KPMG in New York, where she audited blue-chip companies in consumer-oriented sectors including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and advertising agencies. In 2008,she joined Aureos Capital (the Abraaj Group) in Dakar(Senegal) to spearhead private equity investments in francophone West Africa. She participated in transactions covering key development sectors such as cement, energy and health services in Senegal, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire and Mali. She subsequently joined the Manufacturing, Agribusiness & Services department of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), in 2012, where she worked as an investment professional on several agribusiness transactions in mainly in West & Central Africa in food & beverage, agriculture and packaging. Being passionate about entrepreneurship and private sector development in Africa, she decided to join ESP in April 2017 to launch the company’s first private equity fund. Amy holds a BA from Audencia Business School (France) and a MBA from Bowling Green State University (USA). She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). In her free time, Amy enjoys mentoring young entrepreneurs and sharing her insight on business strategy and development.
